Denture Care
- Dentures must be cleaned daily with a soft brush over a sink half filled with water. This will cushion the denture if it is dropped.
- Dentures should be cleaned with a non abrasive cleaner and rinsed thoroughly before being inserted.
- Dentures should be left in a denture bath or ultra sonic cleaner for at least 10 minutes each day. Perhaps while you are in the shower.
- Dentures should be left out overnight.
- Dentures should be professionally cleaned at least twice a year.
- Patients mouths need to be checked every 6-12 months to detect any abnormalities.
